"Indeed it is a "Land of Dreams" that you will live in Friday evening when the 3rd and 4th grades of the Lincoln school will give the operetta of the same name at the high school auditorium at 8 o'clock. The group above are the Mother Goose characters. The four children Betty, Bob, Peggy and Paul meet after eating the magic berries. Left to right in the front row is Jane Duesenberg who plays the part of Mother Goose, Myrna Reynolds as Bo Peep, Carol Jordan as Jill, Judy Kirchgatter as Contrary Mary, Elsie Sorlie as Miss Muffett and Janice Winterstein as Queen of Hearts. Back row, Jimmy Sage as Nimble Jack, David Robers as Jack, Gary Gift as Boy Blue, Ronny Law as Son John, Norman Hansen as Jack Horner and Joan Wessels as the Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe. It's fun to enter the 'Land of Dreams' with these talented youngsters so make a date for this colorful operetta for Friday evening.
