Pancake Day in Clear Lake
September 1953 |

"Free Aunt Jemima Pancakes, served by Aunt Jemima herself, drew a big crowd in September 1953.
The
national icon was in Clear Lake as part of the Farmers Fall Festival.
Aunt Jemima instructed members
of the Lions and Rotary Clubs in the finer points of turning mouth-watering pancakes."
