Deby Akerberg Cassill (CLHS 1965) would like to know...."As freshmen (1962), 8 of us were indoctrinated into a secret group called the "skew club". Original members from our class were Randy Cooper, David Ellington, Sharon Grell, Eileen Johnson, Jackie James, me (Deby Akerberg-Cassill) and two other guys (can't recall who right at the moment). I'm curious because I am now a geeky academic developing a model of evolution called "skew selection". I'd love to know the origin of the club's name as it perfectly fits the solution I have developed for why cooperative hierarchies are so common among animal groups including humans. I'm writing a book on it and would like to include a blurb about the 'skew club' in the foreword."
