David passed on Apr 15, 1993 in Cedar Rapids. He had a blot clot in his heart and didn't even make it through the emergency room.
He is survived by his two children, D. Robert Ekberg, and Mary Angeline (Shawn) Poulter, and his sister Carol (Tedd) Landon.
Robb has two sons, Alexander Bryce, 14, and Lyric David Bryce, 14 months.  Mary also has two sons, Charles Eliot, 14, and Henry David,  9.
Though he didn't know any of his grandsons, he was aware that he would become a grandpa that October.
David was an accomplished photographer and was on the cutting edge of being a computer support tech.
