Diane (Frisbie) and I have been happily married for 37 years. We have two wonderful children, Benjamin who lives in Santa Monica, CA working for an internet company and Katie (married to Chris McFarland) who lives in San Diego doing graphic design work.
I have been working in the building industry since graduation from Iowa State in 1971. Diane and I got married immediately after graduation, moved to Chicago and begin a 10 year odyssey traveling across the US from project to project. We moved 12 times in that period then settled down in Webster Groves, MO to let our kids enjoy growing up in the type of neighborhood we enjoyed in Clear Lake. (but less snow in winter). Once they were off to college, we moved to Sacramento in 2000.
I am currently overseeing all the facilities type projects for Parsons Brinckerhoff in Northern California (about $1B). I enjoy traveling from project to project and being able to see progress and know I have been a part of creating something that others will use for sometime.
When not traveling for work, Diane and I enjoy exploring. With all the frequent flier miles I accumulated, we have been able to see many parts of the world. We really enjoy exploring around Northern California traveling to mountains or oceans. As you may note from the pictures, I still like history. Both past and future.
