Work Experiences (past and/or present): In the fall of 2009 I’ll be starting my 40th year of teaching high school mathematics at Belle Plaine High School.
Other Comments (memories of school days / hobbies / favorite music / etc.):
After graduating college from the University of Northern Iowa in the spring of 1970, I was hired as a math teacher and JV boy’s basketball coach in Belle Plaine. During most of these years I was also playing AAU basketball and fastpitch softball. After about a dozen years I gave up coaching and playing and went into officiating mainly high school volleyball, basketball and softball. I gave up reffing basketball and softball about 10 years ago and I only do a limited amount of volleyball reffing now. I have remained single and have no kids.
