Hi,
This is Steve Peterson's mother, and I am replying to your Email to Barb Weiblen, my daughter. I have recently moved, and all the pictures and mementoes of Steve's life are in a box in the attic above the garage and I cannot readily get at them. But here is a brief report of Steve's life after graduation from CL high school.
Steve graduated from Waldorf, and then went on to graduate from Wartburg. For a few years he worked at various jobs, then went to work for Pier I Imports. He was a manager for various stores in California, in Tucson, and Minneapolis. In late 1979 he was diagnosed with advanced Hodgkins Disease, and died in June, 1980 at the age of 33. Steve was 6' 9" tall, and we thought of him as our "Gentle Giant"
P.S. Barb still plays a lot of flute. She plays in the Concord (MA) Band, is soloist at her church, and directs a flute choir.
