Rose Wilder
MASON CITY -
Rozella "Rose" Wilder, 61, of 911 N. Van Buren Ave.,
Mason City, died Sunday (Feb. 15, 2009) at the
Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, Mason City.

Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St. in Clear Lake, with the Rev. Steve Hansen officiating.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Family suggests memorials to the Rose Wilder Memorial Fund.

Rose was born on July 20, 1947, in Mason City, the daughter of Dean and Beulah (Odom) Pannhoff. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1965.

She worked at the Stein Inn, Mason City, and then worked for KLSS Radio in Mason City, from 1980-1998. She has spent her last four years providing day care for her great-nephew, Gage.

Rose enjoyed reading, gardening and researching her family genealogy.

Rose is survived by her brother, Mitchell Pannhoff, Mason City; sister, Julie Barber and her husband, Roger, of Forest City; niece, Amanda Juhl Pellowski and her husband Matt, of Eden Prairie, Minn.; nephews, Nate Juhl and his wife, Jill and Erik Pannhoff, all of Mason City; and a great-nephew Gage Juhl, of Mason City. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Duane and Todd Pannhoff.
