Retired? Activities you enjoy: I graduated from NIACC in 1967, transferred to Mankato, entered the Army in 1969, returned to Mankato in 1971 and graduated in 1972. In 1972 I also married the local Jr. High language arts teacher and in 1975 we watched her classroom go up in smoke when the Jr. High burned down. We raised three children. Adam, who was an Army pilot for six years (Blackhawk helicopters) and is now a third year dental student at the University of Florida, and twins Amy, a CT scan tech at Mercy in Des Moines, and Carrie, an X-ray tech at University Hospitals in Iowa City. I joined the Mason City fire department in 1977 and retired medically (bad back) in 1999 as a Captain. I enjoy hunting turkeys and helping Tracy Davis manage his dogs in the pursuit of pheasants, rabbits, and raccoons. I also enjoy making musical instruments. I made all the instruments in the picture and play and sing in a local bluegrass, gospel, country, folk trio.
