Retired? Activities you enjoy: Not retired, not gonna retire, haven't got anything to retire from. I have to retire every evening, usually by 10. In the morning I place two fingers on the underside of my wrist and YUP I'm good to go. I hit the floor running.
Things I like to do: We have a houseboat and spend a lot of time on Table Rock Lake. We have a 32-foot motor home but I can't afford the damn gas anymore. And I guess the other thing is the pc. I'm addicted.
Brief life history: 4 years USMC, then 2 years NIACC, then a year and half at Iowa City and my dad died. Five years with trucks leased to Iowa Parcel Service and five years with the Pony Express Depot (western wear retail clothing store), where my nickname originated. Sold out and lived on the road traveling. Ended up in Harlingen,Texas for 10 years. Bought an 11-unit apartment bldg and a home, sold that and worked for a broadcast conglomerate for 7 years. For 3 years after that, I had a used car lot. Then we bought a fifth wheel and pickup, sold everything, and went on the road again. After 7 mos. ended up in Houston. Didn't like Houston, so bought a bigger 5th wheel and a bigger pick-up and hit the road again. Ended up in Branson some time later purchasing a small mobile home park where we've been for 18 years.
Favorite song from the 60's for background music: Bonnie, I think, said somebody else said, "Hmmm, well let me tell you this about that": "Be True to Your School" sounds quite appropriate.
