Life since graduation: I've come to that point in my life where what goes around, comes around. I'm once again living in Iowa City. In 1967 I moved to Iowa City where my children's father attended the University. Subsequently, I married a math professor here at the University and am now living in Iowa City AGAIN. We just returned from a two week trip to Chile, my husband's country of origin. Between us we have five children (my children are Stasia, Kerri and Justin) and TEN grandchildren. Eight are girls (YES) and two are boys.
I've been in touch recently with Peggy Mecham. She was making a trip back to Iowa (2008) and unfortunately, due to Iowa weather, I was not able to make a run to Clear Lake.
Though I was a late comer to CLHS, I have very fond memories. Do any of you remember Debbie Heitland's dad "loaning" us a dump truck and taking it to Mason City High School before homecoming?
