Life After Graduation:

I went to Morningside College, Sioux City, Iowa and graduated in 1969. Marcia and I were married that summer and I planned to start law school at the University of Iowa. Uncle Sam had other ideas and I entered the army the day I was to start law school. Following my tour of duty in Louisiana and Vietnam, I returned and started law school in the fall of 1971. After graduating and being admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1974, we moved our young family to Chariton, Iowa. We lived there until returning to Clear Lake to practice in the fall of 1975 and have remained in Clear Lake and have no plans to leave.

We have three children, Brent, who lives in Ankeny with his significant other, Betsy; Elissa and her husband Doyce and their three children, Taylor,Isaac and Abbie live in Rock Valley, Iowa and Jeff lives in Eureka, California.

We are fortunate to be able to have the grandchildren visit - one at a time.
