Was supposed to retire last year from my 24/7 personal care and attendant job and finally get to travel with my husband, but now have to find a new full-time job.

I am an ethnomusicologist and musician. I sing in several groups, including the University of California Davis chorus, the Davis Chorale, the Sacramento Area Bach Festival Chorus, and in Zado, a women's a capella group that sings songs of "Eastern Europe, Russia and beyond" all in the native languages. I still play flute and recorder, and also ring hand bells. I still do a lot of photography. I am no longer able to do or teach international folk dancing due to my knees, which are scheduled to be replaced. But I may have to give all this up now that I must find a full-time job with adequate salary and benefits to support myself.

I have two daughters, Emily in LA, and Miriam in Davis (see photo taken last Christmas).
