Classmate's Memories:
Our teacher, Pat Renshaw, married Jerry Millard during this school year.
Ruth Erickson Salge - I remember that picture. I think Miss Renshaw took it and we made a frame for it as a Christmas present for our parents. Sure brings back memories. Do you remember we had a surprise wedding shower for Miss Renshaw? Mrs. Salisbury helped us pull it off. She had Miss Renshaw out of the room so that we could surprise her when she came back. I remember Dave Coyle tearing up paper to make confetti during class time. She asked him what he was doing and he made up some story because we were going to throw it at her when she came into the room for the shower.

Pat Renshaw Millard (our teacher) -
The fifth grade class brings back so many memories. This was my first year of teaching and it was oh, so special! I wanted to do everything perfect, but it was hard when you thought the students were so much fun and so cute. We had a bird feeder on the roof which was just out our window. We had a float in the homecoming parade that we all worked on. Then there was the surprise shower, the cutest thing ever, planned by the kids in the class. Yes, the confetti started it off with a bang. Then we played some games & had a lunch of peanut butter and jam sandwiches, brownies, cookies, & Koolade. They had gone together to get me a yellow kitchen clock and an aqua rug. Many of the class came to my wedding on June 8th, 1958, 50 years ago this coming June.
