Your life since 1964:  Two children, who are now older than I care to admit; relocations from Iowa to Southern California, Louisiana, North Carolina, Florida, and Northern Virginia; opportunities to travel both domestically and internationally.  Living near the nation's Capitol for almost thirty years has afforded me many opportunities to experience diverse cultures, having made friends from all over the world; opportunities to travel to far away and exotic places we read about as kids; to work with and know some of our countries leaders from both sides of the aisle; and, with passport in hand, to continue traveling and experiencing first hand some of the world's treasures.  As one trip ends, I'm already planning for the next adventure.  In addition to a full-time job, I continue to teach six to eight yoga classes each week and incorporate the healing energy of Reiki in my classes and private sessions.

What classmates have you kept in contact with?:  Sadly, I've not had enough contact with old friends.

Which classmates would you like to hear from?:  Absolutely everyone, especially if there are old belly laugh stories to be told/heard!

Hobbies?
Have Passport:  Will Travel.
Usui Reiki Master.
Certified Yoga Instructor.
Love sailing and riding on the back of a Harley (putting my nose into the wind, so to speak).

Favorite song of 1964 or earlier:  Blue Velvet by Bobby Vinton, 1963.

Memories of Clear Lake:  Small town with a (as in one) stop light on the highway and a (as in one) stop sign in town.  It was explained to me that a light in downtown would have quite possibly caused a car's engine to freeze up while waiting for a light to turn green during the cold winters.  Walking down the driveway to catch the school bus in the early mornings, 20 degrees below zero and listening to the absolute beauty of silence, watching my breath catch on air and hearing the crunch of my shoes on hard packed snow.  The sight of snow piled as high as a barn roof.  Saturday nights at the skating rink.  The sadness and excitement of graduation night and the thought that we, the Class of '64, would set the world on fire and truly "make a difference".  The feeling of community, which is inherent in small town Iowa communities.
