In Florida, Danny owned and operated a dog kennel and his favorite hobby was sky diving. His brother, Jay Pringle, writes, "He was a great person, one that I admired a great deal. He never had children of his own, but sure loved my daughter and couldn't do enough for her. He is always missed, but especially now at Christmas as I write this for the website."
Services for Dan were held December 27, 1971, at the Porter Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert W. Ross officiating. Danny is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa. He rests beside his Mother and Father, Margaret and Ralph Cunningham.
Daniel (Danny) L. Cunningham, CLHS class of 1964, was born February 2, 1946. He died December 23, 1971, in a head-on car collision in Crystal Lake, Florida, where he lived.
