Your life since 1963: Left Iowa right after graduation and moved to Minneapolis. There I met and married Marvin Olson had two boys and was a working mom. I started working at Olsen Tool and Plactics in 1972 and remained there until I took an early retirement in 2001. My husband Marvin passed away in May of 1997. My son Lance passed away in December of 1999. I Met a wonderful man in 1999 and married in July of 2000. When my father-in-law passed away in December of 2000, My husband decided we would retire and take care of his Mom who lived in Florida. I also was lucky to get a package deal when I married my husband who had 4 girls and 1 boy. They are such great kids and I now have six kids, 12 grandkids and 1 great grandkid. I don't miss the snow.

Your life now: Got the best of both worlds with winters in Florida and summers in Minnesota. A great husband and lots of friends

I did forget to put in information about my husband and how we met.

Mutual friends of ours got us together on a blind date. He was employed as a deputy for the Scott County Sheriff's office. My two boys could not get over the fact that I was dating a cop. He was with his job the same amount of time I was with mine. We both had 29 years in when we retired.
