Your life since 1963:
After graduation I went to work. Worked for several body shops in Clear Lake. Was drafted into the Army in 1965. Did some farming and worked for Burtness Plumbing in Fertile. 23 years ago Burtness landed a job in Jackson, MS doing plumbing work for the winter. I took that opportunity to get out of the cold for the winter and never came back. Been in Mississippi ever since doing plumbing, carpentry and some farming raising sweet corn and field corn. The farmers in Iowa should learn from me as I get $8-$10 per bushel and no government checks.
I married Gail Lee from Fertile in 1967 and had two children. We divorced and I married a gal from Mississippi in 1984.
Your life now: GOOD!!!! Still doing plumbing, carpentry work and farming. Bought 17 acres a few years back, so I could do my own thing.
Life is good, have a great wife that works, don't have to shovel much snow, the phone rings frequently, so I stay busy as I want doing plumbing and carpentry work. If the hurricanes will leave me alone the corn crop will be good, so how can things be any better for me at this time in my life. Come see me and I will do with you like I did with my cousin Charlie and put you to work driving a tractor doing field work.
