Your life since 1963: I wrote a profile before, but so much has happened since I wrote, that I just had to update it. I graduated from high school in Burien, WA, but was never really "home" there because CL was my home. Graduated with a Bachelor in Sacred Music and married Bob. We worked with a Baptist church ministry in Munich, Germany, and then lived in Wisconsin for many years - graduated half of our family in Stevens Point, WI. The other three graduated from Pella, IA. We have two boys and four girls - now 13 grandchildren.

Your life now: In September of 2007 our oldest daughter Heidi was "chosen" to go to Afghanistan. She is a West Point graduate and has served active and in the reserves for about 14 years and had not yet been deployed. She is a major and serves as the S1-personell officer. Between September and January we sold my music studio and closed out my job as director of the community music school of Central College and said good-by to our church work in Altoona, IA. January 1, 2008 we began the privilege of caring for our 5 grandchildren in Michigan for about 15 months. It is a challenge at our age, but we wouldn't trade it for anything.
