Your life since 1963: After high school and Hamilton College graduation, I married Bob in 1964. I was a stay-at-home mom for 2 boys until they were in elementary. Then was the elementary principal's secretary for 29 years. The first 25 years at Sunset Elementary and the last 4 years at Lincoln ELementary. I took early retirement June of 2005. Our oldest son, Tim, lives in Ankeny with wife and 3 little girls. Our other son Tom, lives in Chandler, AZ. We've tried to get him to come home to shovel but he doesn't see it that way !!! Bob worked at AMPI (formerly State Brand Creamery) for 25 years and then worked at Opportunity Village (formerly Handicap Village) for 10 years. We have both retired and can't get the smiles off our faces.
Your life now: Smiling ! ! love retirement ! ! Now we can get in the car and just do what we want when we want, or stay home ! !
