Your life since 1963: I went to MCJC, Luther (for one semester), and UNI. After college I taught one year in Davenport and one year in Dubuque. Jim and I met in college and married. We have three daughters. I stayed home when our children were little but went back to teaching when they were all in school. I have taught preschool and Kindergarten thru third grade. Most of my teaching career was spent in first and second grade. My husband is also a teacher. He teaches high school chemistry and physics. We have lived in Dubuque 36 years.
Your life now: I just retired from teaching after 28 years. We have kept the family home in Clear Lake so we have been spending summers here since 1997. (I am writing this in the Clear Lake Library). I'm looking forward to taking it easy and doing some traveling.
