Your life since 1963: Drafted & in Army 1965-1967. Sept. of 1967 started at Lehigh Portland Cement Plant, Mason City, Ia. Sharon & I raised three great children--Neil (married in 2004 to Cami Dixon)--Neil works for Dept. of Interior, Wildlife & Waterfowl Biologist and is a Federal Officer. They reside in N.D. Julie (married in 2000 to Shane Muth)--Julie worked as Doctors' Assistant, now back in College for RN and works in the Lab at Mercy Hosp., Mason City. Julie & Shane have two "FANTASTIC Children--Kyla, our MIRACLE GRANDDAUGHTER (3 Heart Surgeries first 9 days of life and 1 diaphragm Surgery & Kyan, a Healthy Grandson. Cory works for University Hosp.- Iowa City as a Transcriptionist. Our kids have led us to Montana-traveling out west, to New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC-traveling the east coast; they have led us to interest in environment, the Eco System, Fine Arts of Broadway Plays and Theater; and really the Best--Grandpa and Grandma!!!!!
Your life now: I "RETIRE" in July of this year--2006--it's on the countdown. Sharon will retire in May of 2007. We hope to continue to travel. Our passion for the past few years has been the PBR; and that's not Pasbt Blue Ribbon--it is Professional Bull Riding----We have gone to Kansas City, Minneapolis, Las Vegas Finals last Nov. will this next Nov., Albuquerque, and Tulsa this year. We hope to travel, spend alot of time with the kids and "MEGA" Time with Kyla and Kyan, our Grandkids.
What classmates have you kept in contact with? : I see some over July 4th at Clear Lake, and some that live in the area.
