Your life since 1963: You name it, I may have done it. Been on both sides, labor and management, owned a business or two. Had some chances and did it my way, so had some failures also. All in all, more positive than negative. Much of the positive due to a girl from Mason City that I met our senior year of high school and married in 1966. We have three daughters, born in three different states, now I know why she didn't want to move again! Our oldest is in Des Moines, married and has two boys. The middle daughter lives in Omaha, Neb., and is still single. Our youngest lives here in Clear Lake, married, and has one son and one daughter. All three have been through college and have careers. Not sure where we went wrong, two are teachers and one is a blood sucker, I mean she sets up blood draws in and around Des Moines for the Iowa Blood Center.

Forcibly retired after loosing my sight three years ago. Went to a residency program offered by the government in Iowa and learned quite well how to operate without sight and am doing fine, landscaping and remodeling our house.

Your life now: Coming up on 40th Wedding Anniversary, November 26, 2006. Not sure how I got so lucky, but thank God every day. Also ask Him to help us decide on each of the rest of the remodeling items and allow me to really retire. Actually, I am keeping busy, active, and enjoying life.

What classmates have you kept in contact with? Bump into many around town, Charlie, Larry, Chuck, Julie, Wayne and, oh yes, Mavis. Use to bump into her whenever we would go to school to eat with our grandchildren, now I bump into her whenever I turn on the computer!
