Your life since 1963: Graduated from Hamilton Business College 1964, Started working for Hardin County REC December 1964. Mary and I were marred in January 1965 and in September 6, 1966 I started working for Iowa Power and Light (now MidAmerican Energy). My present position is as a line crew supervisor. See Mary Ginkens for family life. I served on the Adel City Council for 22 years and was a member of the Adel Fire Rescue for 20 years. Mary and I both have been active in the community and Church activites.
Your life now: I am now serving as Chairman of the Dallas County Emergency Managament Commission, and Vice-Chair of the Dallas County E911 Board, and President of the Adel Lions Club. Along with my work I am running for Dallas County Board of Supervisor in the primary election June 6, 2006. My plans at this time is to retire from Mid-American October 2007. After I retire we plan to travel and spend time with our grandkids.
