Mike is a senior engineer working with mobile object capabilities in large-scale distributed systems. He guides the development of new commercial products and existing government services contracts for Topia. Mike's focus is on decision theory, nondeterministic polynomial time completeness (NPC) problems, and distributed computing.
Mike holds a Doctorate in Law from the Northwestern School of Law and a Masters Degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto. A published author and distinguished linguist and philosopher, Mike is also a skilled software engineer and discerning mathematician.
Mike is known in the industry as an extremely effective communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences on a broad range of computing and mathematical topics.
At the 2006 ICNS Conference, Mike presented his paper Design, Architecture, the NAS, SWIM, Net-Centric Operations, and SOA.
