Judy F. Fritz, 65, of Fort Dodge, died Friday, September 26, 2008 at her home.
Her wishes were to be cremated. Funeral services will be Tuesday September 30 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Note: Judy was part of our class,
but moved before graduation.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.
Surviving is her former husband, Pete Fritz of Fort Dodge; son, Joel Fritz and his wife Marcia of Webster City; grand-daughter Hannah Fritz; mother, Edith Butrick of Fort Dodge; brother, Jack Niewald and his wife Carol of Corwith; half-sister, Patricia Stilfield; step-siblings, Doris Wadsley, Sherry Higgenbotham, Pat Fellers, Dennis Butrick. She was preceded in death by her father Jesse Niewald and a grandson, Noah Joel Fritz.
Judy Niewald was born August 12, 1943 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. As a young child her family eventually settled in Fort Dodge. Judy graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High school in 1961. On March 16, 1963 she was united in marriage to Peter P. Fritz in Gardena, CA. Judy worked for Trimark Physicians for over 37 years as a medical secretary, retiring in 2005.
