Dixie Renee (Anderson) Hass passed away at 6:30 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on May 26, 2005, just 10 days after her 62nd birthday, after a long illness. She will be interred in San Diego, Calif. where she and her family have lived for the past 27 years.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. (Bob) Hass; her daughter, Bobbi Renee Burleson; and two grandchildren, Seth and Jessi Burleson. (Quoted from the Mirror Reporter)

Memories of Dixie
Dixie moved here when we were in high school. She, Maxine (Bell) and I had wonderful times together. I remember that classic T-Bird in her parents’ garage! Blue – wow! She was a dancer – had taken dance classes for years and taught them as well. We spent hours on the phone when we weren’t hanging out together. She was a great friend and I’m deeply sorry she didn’t have a longer, less pain-free life.
