Roger L. Vosburgh
MASON CITY 
     Roger L. Vosburgh, 56, of 2119 S. Jefferson Ave., died Thursday (May 29, 1997) at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City.
     Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Highway 18 West, with the Rev. David Anderson of St. James Lutheran Church, officiating.
     In accordance with Roger's wishes his body has been cremated.  No visitation will be held.  Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., is handling arrangements.
     Roger Lee Vosburgh was born May 13, 1941, at Mason City, the son of Harley H. and Esther I. (Lorenzen) Vosburgh.  He married Judy Momyer on July 4, 1993, at Mason City.
     Roger was raised in Burchinal, later moving to Mason City.  He was a 1960 graduate of Clear Lake High School, Clear Lake.
     For many years he drove truck for his father at Vosburgh Trucking, Burchinal.  Later he drove for Plagge Truck Lines, Mason City.  Most recently, Roger was a driver with Fermented Products, Mason City. 
    He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City, and a 30 year member of the Moose Lodge, Mason City.
     Roger is survived by his wife, Judy Vosburgh, Mason City; one daughter, Shelley Sullivan and her husband, Mark, Ramona, Calif.;  two sons, Todd Vosburgh and his wife, Charlotte, El Cajon, Calif., and Ryan Vosburgh and his wife, Amy, Des Moines; a step-daughter, Sandy King and her husband, Dion, Mason City; a step-son, Mike Momyer, Mason City; six grandchildren, Ricky Blount, Blair Vosburgh, Tyler Vosburgh, Casey Sullivan, Kylie Sullivan, and Chelsea Vosburgh; three step-grandchildren, Wesley King, Taylor King, and Christopher Kirschbaum.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and an infant son.
