This page is for pictured memories, those that we find in drawers, old photo albums, in the attic... wherever they have been for all these years.  They all have something to do with Clear Lake and the time we spent there in our youth.  I hope you enjoy and that you will also participate.

Pictured Memories
This was a model of a mining operation (Iron) in Lorraine, France and was part of our tremendous geography learning experience with Miss Ditsworth. As I recall Dave Lansrude had come up with the creative part of the project and had designed most of the model....adding artistic touches here and there as we went along. Jut handled all the logistics and directed the operation from start to finish. I, on the other hand, just stood back....allowing these two talented individuals free rein....and just hung on for the ride.

I see that You, Bob, Nancy and Jim also had a similar project. I think Miss Ditsworth had the entire class divide up into small teams and we each did something along this line. What was yours?

(Bob, Nancy or Jim... do you remember?)

I was in 7th grade in 55-56 and in 8th 56-57.  I don't know if you remember or not but for some reason our scout leader quit.  There were just us 5 girls in the picture that were working for our curved bar.  Remember that was the highest you could go in girl scouts at the time.  I was so upset that we had no leader that I told my mom about it and she became our leader in order for all of us to get our curved bar.  She only stepped in so that we could finish our scouting experience.
