My Mom Died At The Age Of 51. She Fought Liver Cancer 11 Years Prior To That. She Was Married To Leo Formanek On June 12,1961. They Had Three Boys. Randy, Is The Oldest. He Is Now 45 Years Old. He is Married, And Has Two Girls, Ashley, Age 19, And Chealsey, Age 16. They Live In Garner, Iowa. Randy's Wifes Name Is Kris Formanek.
Second, Is Steve Formanek. He Is 42 Years Old. He Has Two Girls. Kortney, Who Is 17, And Rachel, Who Is 12. He Lives On The Farm That We Grew Up On. Just West Of Garner, About 7 Miles. He is No Longer Married.
And Last But Not Least, Is Me. Rick Formanek. I Live In Clear Lake, And have Two Girls, And The Only Formanek Boy. The Oldest Girl Is Kelsey, She Is 15. Second, Is Sara, She Is Almost 10. Then There Is Andrew, He Is 5 Years Old, And Is A Hand Full. He Is The Only Boy In our Family. Grandpa Really Spoiles Him. I Am Married, And My Wife's Name Is Renae.
Mom Got To See The Two Oldest Boys get Married, But Didn't Get To See Me. I Was Probably The Closest To Mom, Since I Was The Baby. She Also Got To See Ashley,Chealsey, And Kortney Be Born. She Was Really Proud Of Those Grand Kids. That Is What Kept Her Fighting Her Cancer.
Dad, Lives In Clear Lake Too. He Got Remarried, About 6 Years After Mom Passed Away. Met a Nice School Teacher From Mason City At The Time. They Are Both Retired, And Do Alot Of Traveling. Dad Is 72 Years Old, And Is Fighting Colon Cancer. He Is Doing Pretty Good. He Has His Days, Like Everyone Says.
It's Been 14 Years Since Mom Has Been Gone, And Their Isn't One Day That Passes Us All That We Don't Think Of Her. Dad Talks About Her Alot. I Try To Tell My Kids About Her All The Time.
