WHAT HAPPENED AFTER 1960?? I went to Iowa State University and majored in Math. I married John Moss, Mason City, in 1963. We had one son and three daughters, lived in Minneapolis for 15 years and then moved to Ames. We lived a year by Paris, France and 6 months in Toronto, Canada. That is the extent of my world travels. I worked at the USDA Animal Research Laboratories in Ames as a research virologist. Divorced in 1980. I took one class a semester while working and finally got my B.S. from Iowa State in 1985. I continued to pursue an M.S. in Immunbiology from Iowa State. I loved my job and worked at the lab for almost 20 years. I moved to Florida and married my current husband, Doyle Teachey. I tutored math and taught computer-assisted algebra classes at a Learning Center at Florida CC of Jacksonville. That was great fun as math was my first love. We live on a beautiful acreage amongst the pine trees in NE Florida just above Jacksonville. It is not quite how one imagines Florida although we are close to beautiful white sand Atlantic beaches as well as the pine trees.
What's up now? My husband retired after 30 years with CSX railroad in January. We have bought a big house in a small Iowa town to be close to children and grandchildren. We will continue to keep our Florida place as I've become quite wimpy regarding Iowa Winters. Also, Doyle's family is still in Florida. My mom lived out on the farm until 11/03 when she passed away at 90.

What is the chance of you making a 45th reuion (Aug 5th & 6th): EXCELLENTE'! I think it would be great fun!
Please tell us your favorite song: Moonlight Sonata by Mozart. I still love to listen to the 50's songs. I loved the song, "Only the Lonely" but I can't remember who sang it.
Pets: We have two dogs, Molly, a chocolate lab, and Leah, a German Shorthair, who are "our children" now.
Hobby: Flower gardening, Sacred Harp singing group, walking, biking and best of all, spending time with my grandchildren although I don't get to do enough of that.
Marital status: Happily married 7 years now to Doyle Teachey, a North Carolina redneck, who moved to Jacksonville in his teens.
KIDS: Four: My son, Mike, is an attorney in Omaha. He and his wife are expecting a son in August. My oldest daughter, Judi, a CPA, lives in D.C. My daughter, Suzanne, a pharmacist, lives in Spearfish, S.D and has three children growing up so quickly. My youngest, Kris, a physical therapist lives in North Liberty. She and her husband are proud parents of almost-4 year old twins.
Other comments: It's been fun reading everyones'profiles. It was especially a nice surprise to hear about Jut after all of these years. And, the graduation pictures and current pictures are great! We always welcome company if anyone travels our Florida or Iowa directions.
