The reunion committee met today (August 15th) to finalize plans for September. Please make a copy of this memo since we probably won't send out a review of events again UNLESS something changes!
September 16 - pre-official reunion events
10 AM  -  Golf at AmVets - Gary Marshall is planning this and needs to know who is playing.
gmarshall002@socal.rr.com
6 PM - meet at Rumorz on South Shore for anyone already in town. Rumorz is across the parking lot from the Silver Boot.
September 17
12:30 PM - reunion choir practice at the Congregational Church
4 - 5:30 PM - official start of the reunion - registration and social time at **Clear Lake State Park Lodge on South Shore - not McIntosh.
**This is a change of venue. Short explanation is the Girl Scouts changed their policies from when we signed a contract with them, and it was impossible to comply with their new regulations.
5:30 PM - Picnic dinner (park closes at 1o PM)
September 18
9 AM - Memorial ceremony at the the seawall conducted by Harvey Seidel.
Brunch following ceremony at the band shell room.
On your own - In your registration materials will be information from the Clear Lake Chamber of things to do in and around Clear Lake, if you are interested.
Reunion choir will practice sometime today.
5 PM - Social hour at PM Park on South Shore
6 PM - Banquet
PM Park lakeside has a new Tiki House where drinks are available and chairs to relax in outside. A bar will also be set up upstairs where we will convene for the banquet. If anyone requires handicap accessibility, enter the PM Park building on the lake side and use the motorized chair lift on the stairs.
September 19
9 AM Dutch Treat - Pick up a coffee at The Cabin and meet in City Park prior to everyone departing.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone in a month!
