CLASSMATE: Nadine Borton Paullus Residence: 838 6th SE Mason City, IA 641-423-4468
Email: What I am doing now: I have retired after 32 years of teaching kindergarten
in Eagle Grove, Charles City and Mason City. I also taught art to Kdg through 5th grade at MacNider
Art Museum in Mason City--and I stayed home with our daughter for nine years! So, I must be somewhere
around 82. When asked what retired meant, one of my students responded with, "It means going out
of business." I feel so lucky to have enjoyed my career and the wonderful people I was fortunate
enough to work with.
Family Our daughter Molly graduated from the University of Iowa in chemical
engineering and clinical psychology. She and her high school best friend, Mark Vollmers are now married
and living in Des Moines. Molly works at Pioneer. My husband Fred continues to work for the State of
Iowa as a Weight and Measures Inspector in the Dept of Agriculture.
