What I am doing now:
As you know, I left school here the middle of our junior year and moved to Chippewa Falls, Wi where I completed my junior year and then we moved to Cloquet, Mn and I graduated from that school. A lot different from Clear Lake. It was okay though and then Ger got drafted into the Army and I came back to Clear Lake and worked in Mason for two years. Ger got out of the Army and we moved back to Superior, Wi where he worked for Williams Pipe Line and I worked for a loan company. We then moved to the country and had a mink and fox farm for 34 years before retiring in l997. We moved back to Clear Lake in 2002 and built a house here. We always said we would come home after we retired and we did. We are enjoying life back at the Lake and invite whoever would like to stop and see us and have a cup of coffee or whatever whenever they are here in the area.
Family
Ger & I got married on June 30, 1957 and have been married for 47 years. That's it I guess. If you want anything else please let me know. Guess that brings you up to date on me. I have one son, Stuart, that is 38 and lives at home with us. He is a borderline retarded and enjoys going to all of the sports that are available at the school and likes to fish. Ger bought an acreage this year so they will be busy with making a new garden and cleaning up the grounds.
Addition to Karen's profile- Added 4 June, 2007
Guess I would add that I was very active in Eastern Star while living in Wisconsin and was a grand officer for the state of Wisconsin in 1976-77.
We are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this year.
Have bought a small acreage north of Manly for Ger to grow a big garden and go there when he feels the need to return to the country. We are happy to be back in Clear Lake and enjoy our new home here.
