CLEAR LAKE – Ardis Ruth Felker, 64 of Clear Lake died Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 1, 2005 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue with Elder Robert Wilson of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 PM on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Major Erickson Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa.

Ardis was born November 23, 1940 the daughter of Elmer and Elinor (Nicewarner) Felker in Mason City . She graduated from Clear Lake High School and attended nurse's training at N.I.A.C.C. Ardis moved from Mason City to Des Moines where she was an L.P.N. at the V.A. Hospital . During her many years of service she was recognized at L.P.N. of the year. Ardis then retired from the V.A. Hospital after 25 years of service and moved to Clear Lake . She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and a devoted sister to her brother Roger. Ardis enjoyed being outdoors, shopping and being with animals, especially her “Tippy Dogs.”

Cousins: Ron Felker and wife Ann of Stockton, Missouri;

Larry Felker and wife Mary of Plymouth, Minnesota

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; uncles, Earl and Harold Nicewarner Henry Felker and Russell Nicewarner and wife Frieda.
