Following HS I attended MCJC. Then I attended Drake U on a track scholarship. I spent my Junior year
at Iowa U. where I particpated on the football team. I transferred to Bemidji State in northern MN and
graduated in 1964.
I worked construction on steel buildings following graduation. While working
in WI, I met and married Mary O'Neill, a native of Chippewa Falls, WI in 1970.
Mary provided me
with a family of 4 children. We settled in Chippewa and over the years our 4 children provided us with
10 grandchildren.
I currently am a working part owner of a road construction business in Chippewa.
My current hobbies include training my hunting dog and doing lots of Ruffed Grouse and pheasant
hunting.
I have stayed in touch with a few classmates; primarily Dale Sargent and Jack MacDonald.
Jack and I get together to hunt and occasionally he joins me at our cabin in northern Wisconsin for boating
and one or two Leinenkugel's Red beers.
My favorite memories of high school include participating
in sports and reaching the state track meet in my Junior and Senior years. Others would include cruising
town in my 50 Ford with the usual crew in search of something to do.
