ELSBURY
Clear Lake- Funeral services for Charles R. Elsbury, 40, who was killed Thursday in an outomobile
accident near Fort Dodge, will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First Congregational Church in Clear Lake,
the Rev. Kennth Ubbelohde officiating.
Friends may call at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel in Clear
Lake Monday morning. The body will be cremated.
Mr. Elsbury was a long-time Clear Lake businessman
and electronics hobbyist. He developed a telephone computer which transfers incoming calls. The computers
are manufactured at his firm, Chelsy Industries, Inc. Highway 18 East, Clear Lake.
He attended
Clear Lake High School and was graduated from Mason City Junior College in 1961. He was a veteran of
the U.S. Air Force.
He also was a member of the Clear Lake Evening Lions Club and the Elks Lodge
and Moose Lodge in Mason City.
He lived at 12 1/2 4th Street, Clear Lake.
Survivors include
his father, Archie Elsbury, Mason City; a daughter, Tanya Elsbury, Loma Linda, Calif : a sister, Mrs.
Patricia Baldwin, Joplin, Mo: and a brother, Robert Elsbury, Clear Lake.
Memorials may be to the
Charles Elsbury Memorial Fund.
