Cecil and I were married June 1, 1957. The next year we lived up and down the West Coast while Cecil was in the Navy. The next year we moved to my family farm in Bristow, Iowa. Cecil, being a Mason City guy, (MCHS'52) learned to farm, which we did for 49 years.

We have two sons, Rick, the Jr. High & High School Principal at BMG Schools, Brooklyn, Iowa. Rod, Head Softball Coach at Bethal University, St. Paul, MN.

We have four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. I have been teaching piano for 41 years and have been Church organist for 42 years. We moved to Clear Lake Memorial weekend, 2006.
