Deloris Christine Haugen CLEAR LAKE- Deloris Christine Haugen, 57, of Clear Lake, died Thursday (Jan 4, 1996) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday at the Christian Church in Clear Lake, with the Rev. Larry Squier officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 pm Sunday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St and one hour prior to the service time on Monday at the church. Deloris Christine Haugen was born on Jan 23, 1938, the daughter of Wallie and Ruth Idelle (Garlock) Haugen in rulral Clear Lake in Cerro Gordo County. She attended and received her education in the Clear Lake School system, graduating from Clear Lake High School in 1956. She lived and worked throughout her life in Clear Lake, working for Easter Super Value Grocery store and mostly recently until her death for the Bonded Plumbing. She enjoyed bowling, knitting and her dogs and was a loving and caring mother and sister. She was a member of the Christian Church of Clear Lake. She is survived by a son, Anthony Haugen of Clear Lake, Three brothers, DuWayne Haugen and his wife, Cleta of Clear Lake, Keith Haugen and his wife Cathy of Clear Lake and Myron Haugen and his wife, Pat of Clear Lake as well as other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dale and Mark Haugen. |
