In about our Jr. year CLHS wanted to see if a home ec. class might be offered to guys in the high school.  Well, needless to say the first group of guys killed the whole show but we still have alot of laughs from it.
At the end of the semester we put on a formal?????evening meal in the home ec room and invited Mr. & Mrs. Weaver which probably was our mistake for killing the whole project....  Roger Hanna who was my partner is baking the ugliest blue angel food cake one could ever imagine.  The whole cake was one color and I still have nightmares about it for fear it is going to fall on me and squash me if you can imagine how it actually turned out.   Jerry Millard

We also made a very lucrative commercial for the Mix Master and of course Roger Westover got the job because Al Johannessen, Miss Bonoff's all time favorite, was locked up in the John because we were tired of him getting all of the glory and we did all of the work.....

Just got around to opening my e-mail and enjoyed the reminder of our ec class.  I often think about those times.  They were the best of times.  I believe we were in shop class when the request came looking for anyone to sign up.  We ran to the main building to sign up.  It was great fun baking, sewing and whatever else we did to disrupt the school.   Henry Gehl
