Fri. - Sun., July 24 -26 - THE CLEAR LAKE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE has graciously prepared a bag of goodies for each alumni. Pick yours up at the Chamber office, 205 Main Ave., during business hours - Friday 8-5, Saturday 10-4 or Sunday Noon-4.

Sat. July 25 (during the day) - We have the VENTURA COMMUNITY CENTER

all day long. Classmates will be there decorating, preparing, etc. for the

Main Event, which begins at 4 PM.

Sat. Evening, July 25 (4 PM - ??) MAIN EVENT: WEBSITE REUNION!!! -

VENTURA COMMUNITY CENTER. DINNER AT 6 PM. - 4 North Weimer St, Ventura, IA. Pay in Advance. Send check to your "class collector" ASAP - ($17.50 per person - due by July 10)

Iowa Storytelling Festival

Fri Jul 24 10:30am - Sat Jul 25 3:30pm- City Park

The Clear Lake Public Library's Storytelling Festival is the first event of Lakefest, the weekend celebration that also encompasses the Art 'Sail' and Lakeside Dixie Fest. Friday night, storytellers perform eerie tales aboard the Lady of the Lake "Ghost Boat" at 9 pm. Ticket price is $15. Saturday, three free performances by the Midwest's finest storytellers performing for a multi generational audience in Clear Lake City Park.

Lakeside Dixiefest

Sat Jul 25 - Sun Jul 26- City Park

Toe-tapping Dixieland Jazz will be performed during the 17th Annual Lakeside Dixiefest. This event features 5 professional Dixieland Bands performing in Clear Lake's City Park. Free festival performances in City Park Saturday evening from 6-9 pm and on Sunday from 1-8:30 pm.

Art 'Sail'

Sponsored by the Clear Lake Arts Center more than 75 artists will be selected from throughout the Midwest for the 32nd Annual Art Sail. Jewelry, pottery, painting, fiber arts, sculptures, prints and more can be purchased directly from the artists. Free admission. Free children's creative activities, food vendors, and strolling entertainment are also ongoing. Part of Lakefest Weekend.

Auto events featuring stock cars, hobby sticks and modified cars. Races each Sunday night.

Hot laps, 6 pm followed by races. Adult admission $8, $3 child or $20 family.
